The Princess of Wales is open hearted and always ready with advice according to this member of the Royal Family
by Lydia Starbuck · Royal CentralThe Princess of Wales is a go to person for advice and always willing to offer guidance according to one member of the Royal Family.
In her first interview, Harriet Phillips has spoken of her relationship with the Princess and was full of praise.
Talking about how she gets support if she needs it in her new life as part of the wider family of King Charles, Harriet said it’s Catherine she can turn to. And she had warm words about her cousin in law.
Harriet Phillips told Hello! magazine that ”I can look to Catherine for advice and guidance. She is very open-hearted, and I would always feel comfortable asking her if I need advice about something”.
The two women also share a deep interest in early years development and the importance of supporting parents and children. In the interview, Harriet Phillips announced has taken on a new role as patron of Home Start Cotswolds where she will help champion early years mental health support.
Along with Prince William, Catherine was one of the guests at the wedding of Harriet and Peter Phillips which took place in June in Gloucestershire, close to the Gatcombe Park estate. Princess Anne lives there with both her children, Peter and Zara, having bases there along with their families.
Five months after her wedding, Harriet has opened the doors of her Cotswolds home to Hello! for an exclusive interview, accompanied by an extensive photo shoot in which she showcased her already noted sense of style.
Harriet Sperling married Peter Phillips in June after an engagement of ten months. In the run up to their wedding announcement, the couple had been seen at a number of notable events together including Royal Ascot and Wimbledon, prompting speculation that they would marry.
With just months to go until their big day, Harriet joined the Royal Family at their Easter celebrations at Windsor and her composure and confidence was noted then.
Since her marriage, she’s been part of wider family events, taking part in the carriage procession at Royal Ascot. It’s expected that she will be seen with them again at Christmas as she and Peter Phillips mark their first festive season as a married couple. Peter and his sister, Zara Tindall, have both been guests at the now traditional ‘Together at Christmas’ concert organised at Westminster Abbey every year by the Princess of Wales.
Given the bond that already exists between them, it seems likely that Harriet will be at the Abbey in her first year as part of the Royal Family.
