New Gate Hours For Fort Sill Will Start Thursday, Jan. 16

Fort Sill will start new gate hours on Thursday, Jan. 16 to accommodate construction at Key Gate West. The gate schedules have been adjusted to ensure efficient gate access to Fort Sill.

Kay Gate West will close at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 for the system installation of an Automated Vehicle Barrier (AVB). After the installation is complete, Key Gate West will be the third gate on Fort Sill with the system, other gates equipped with the system include Bentley Gate and Scott Gate.

While Key Gate West is under construction, the following gate hours will be in effect:

  • Bentley Gate on Sheridan Road will be open 24/7.
  • Apache Gate will be open 24/7 and commercial deliveries will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
  • The hours for Scott Gate on Fort Sill Boulevard will remain unchanged and will continue with the operating hours of 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed weekends, holidays and training holidays.
  • The 52nd Street Gate will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed weekends, holidays and training holidays.

  • Key Gate East will be operate with the following schedule:

    • Open from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday
    • Open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays (Family Day)
    • Open from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays (Graduation Day
    • Open from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday during the month of January. Weekend hours will be reassessed following a traffic study.
    • Closed on holidays.
