The Ministry of Health has announced that four major hospitals in Yangon are fully prepared to treat patients suffering from heat-related illnesses as temperatures rise. Hospitals in East Yangon, West Yangon, Hlaing Tharyar, and Thanlyin have arranged additional patient wards, stocked essential medicines and supplies, and trained medical staff to handle heat emergencies in line with treatment guidelines.
