From The Hindu Archives, July 3, 1926: This branch of scouting has not made much headway in the Presidency till now. But thanks to the efforts of Commander Digby-Beste R. I. M. of the Port Trust, serious attempts at starting a scout troop exclusively for sea scouting have become a success.
