Myanmar’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA), under the Ministry of Health, issued a warning on October 14, calling for the withdrawal of VeVe-branded strawberry-flavoured milk from the market after tests found excessive levels of a food additive. According to the FDA’s announcement, a sample collected from Ocean Super Center was found to contain 322.64 parts per million (ppm) of sodium cyclamate, exceeding the permitted maximum limit of 250 ppm.
