A successful separation surgery has been performed on 2-year-and-5-month-old conjoined twin girls at Yangon Children’s Hospital, according to reports. The twin sisters, Ma Kyar Nyo Thin and Ma Kyar Nyo Theint, who were joined at the chest, underwent separation surgery on June 11. The operation began at 10:10 a.m. and lasted a total of 9 hours and 35 minutes. As the children’s condition remains stable and satisfactory following the procedure, they are currently being monitored and treated in the intensive care unit (ICU).
