From The Hindu Archives, January 1, 1976: Small quantities of curium-242 — the heaviest man-made element prepared and isolated so far in India — have been isolated and purified at the Radio Chemistry Division of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, for the first time, according to the latest issue of Nuclear India.
