A doctor at Government Thoothukudi Medical College and Hospital has been suspended from service for being under the influence of alcohol while on duty. It is reported that the doctor, identified as Kannan, was intoxicated while attending patients in the Outpatient Department on Thursday morning. Witnessing this, a member of the public recorded a video and shared it on social media.
