LAHORE, Pakistan: Rainfall continues intermittently around Lahore and other Cities, bringing pleasant weather while the Meteorological Department has predicted more heavy rain and hailstorms in various parts of Pakistan.

According to details, heavy rainfall has also occurred in different areas of Rawalpindi, and the power went out in Sangla Hill City and its surrounding areas due to thunder and rain, causing inconvenience to the residents.

In Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Jhang, Safdarabad, and the surrounding areas, the heavy downpour has changed the weather, bringing relief to people suffering from the heat.

The Meteorological Department has stated that the rainfall has reduced the intensity of heat in Islamabad with a possibility of heavy rain and hailstorms in some parts of the City.

Rain is also expected in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Talagang, Gujranwala, Lahore, Kasur, Faisalabad, Okara, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Mianwali, and Khushab.

The department has also forecast thunderstorms and rain in Sialkot, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Bhakkar, Layyah, Jhang, Multan, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Tharparkar, and Umerkot.

Additionally, rain is expected in Chitral, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Swabi, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda, Buner, Malakand, Dir, Swat, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Kohistan, Orakzai, and Kurram.

The department has predicted thunderstorms and rain in Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Waziristan, Kohat, Hangu, and Dera Ismail Khan while hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of Sindh and Balochistan.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, rain with thunderstorms is expected in some areas, and strong winds, rain, and hailstorms are predicted for parts of Azad Kashmir.
