Traffic being diverted through Porus following highway crash

Traffic is being diverted off the PJ Patterson Highway following the collision of two trucks near the Toll Gate exit in Clarendon.

The police say the collision resulted in the roadway being completely blocked with goods and building materials.

The incident occurred on the west bound leg of the highway, after the toll booth.

Traffic is currently being diverted through Clarendon Park into Porus, after which, motorists can rejoin the highway.

The police say the roadway is currently being cleared and motorists should exercise caution and expect delays along that thoroughfare.
