Trump teases design for 50-story Miami skyscraper presidential library
by JAMES GORDON, US NEWS REPORTER · Mail OnlineA flashy, gold-drenched vision of President Donald Trump's future presidential library has been unveiled on his Truth Social on Monday night, not in bricks and steel, but in a striking AI-generated video.
The dramatic renderings set to pulsing music, showed an enormous mirrored skyscraper emblazoned with the Trump name and the stars and stripes.
They offer a first glimpse of what is being billed as the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library and Museum in Miami - a sprawling, waterfront complex that leans heavily into the president's signature style: bold, grand, and unmistakably gold.
Among the most eye-catching features is a towering gold statue of Trump himself, placed prominently as a centerpiece - a striking symbol of the project's tone and ambition.
The renderings also depict:
- A full-sized Air Force One jet displayed inside the lobby, alongside what appear to be fighter aircraft and presidential helicopters.
- A gleaming golden escalator, echoing the iconic feature of Trump Tower in NYC
- Detailed recreations of the Oval Office and the White House Rose Garden
- Expansive, marble-lined halls designed for exhibits, events, and visitors
The structure itself was designed by Bermello Ajamil, a Miami-based firm known for large-scale waterfront and civic projects.
The reveal was amplified by one of the president's sons, Eric, who described the project in glowing terms in a public post to X.
'FIRST LOOK: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Library is officially here,' he wrote.
'Over the past six months, I have poured my heart and soul into this project with my incredible team at @Trump.'
He added that the proposed complex would stand 'as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known.'
'These images have never been seen by the public - until today. Enjoy!'
Presidential libraries have historically served as archives and museums chronicling administrations, but the vision presented here pushes far beyond tradition.
Instead of a subdued, academic tone, the proposed Trump library appears designed as a spectacle-driven destination.
The slick promotional clip leans into a larger-than-life vision of Trump's legacy, presenting the future library less as a traditional archive and more as a towering monument to his brand and presidency.

The inclusion of aircraft, theatrical staging, and highly stylized interiors suggests a focus not just on preservation, but on experience and legacy-building at scale.
The proposed tower is billed as a roughly 50-story structure, rising above the Miami waterfront.
The heavy use of gold finishes, theatrical lighting and grand interior spaces closely mirrors the aesthetic long associated with Trump's real estate portfolio.
Despite the buzz, the project does not yet exist, and no construction timeline has been formally announced.
In the video, visitors are seen stepping into a cavernous lobby anchored by Air Force One, positioned next to a gleaming gold escalator in a clear visual callback to Trump's 2015 campaign launch.
The renderings also show military helicopters, fighter jets and even a tank staged along wide, open corridors as the building rises.
Higher up, the tower is depicted as housing recreations of the Oval Office, a 'Presidential Walk of Fame' and a newly imagined White House ballroom.
The video further features a sleek, modern auditorium and a landscaped terrace garden complete with fountains, adding to the project's resort-style feel.
What has been released so far remains purely conceptual and is an AI-generated vision rather than any firm, finalized architectural plans.
Most presidential libraries are eventually operated in partnership with the National Archives and Records Administration, serving as research centers as well as public museums.
Last month it was revealed how Miami-Dade College could gift prime downtown real estate for the library. The foundation for his library now owns the land, property records show.
According to the Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser, the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation Inc. now owns the property at 531 NE 2 Avenue.
In January, the District Board of Trustees of Miami-Dade College, the previous owners of the land, transferred the property to the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida for just $10, records showed.
The state board is overseen by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who on Monday signed legislation to rename the Palm Beach International Airport after the president.
It is the latest in a series of buildings, institutions, government programs, warships, and money to bear the president's name.
