Asda and Sainsbury's recall £1 staple food with 'do not eat' warning

The two supermarkets have warned that a 'packaging error' means the product could be a health risk to those allergic to soya.
Packs of McGhee's Family Bakers 6 Scottish Brown Rolls were shipped with White Morning rolls which contain soya.
Affected packs have an expiry date of January 12 and a batch code L5007.
Food Standards Scotland advised consumers with a soya allergy to not eat the product and instead return it to their point of purchase for a full refund.
It said in a statement: 'McGhee’s Family Bakers are recalling packs of 6 Scottish Brown Rolls.
'Due to a packaging error, several packs include white rolls which contain soya. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.
'If you have a soya allergy please do not consume this product and instead return it to Sainsbury's or Asda for refund.'
At the end of last year, Cadbury withdrew its drinking chocolate from sale due to quality concerns.
Its parent company, Mondelez International, said food quality issue' in some tubs meant 'the texture and colour of the product may not look as expected'.
And discounter Lidl recalled its Meadow Fresh Potato Salads in November after some were found to contain pieces of copper, making them harmful to eat.
