D4vd Case: Major Twist Revealed -- Was Celeste Really Pregnant?

The question of whether or not Celeste Rivas was pregnant when she was murdered has finally been answered.
As we’ve been following, when the missing teen’s remains were discovered in the trunk of D4vd’s Tesla in September, they were in such brutal shape it was difficult for forensic experts to discern any concrete details. In addition to being dismembered, Celeste was in a deep state of decomposition after being murdered five months earlier in April, according to prosecutors. During day 1 of D4vd’s preliminary hearing last week, photos were shown of her remains, which were described as “unrecognizable” and having “ skin slippage.”
However, a persistent question throughout the investigation has been whether or not the deceased 14-year-old was pregnant at the time of her death, as D4vd, 21, is accused of having intimate relations with the minor. In April, Celeste’s death certificate was updated in a section indicating whether or not she was pregnant — where it previously noted she was NOT, that section was replaced with a “U” marker for “unknown.”
The switch came as more and more evidence came in detailing discussions of missed periods, pregnancy scares, Plan B, and more between Celeste and D4vd. During day 4 of his preliminary hearing, texts between Celeste and the Romantic Homicide singer revealed she became pregnant at just 13 years old, but underwent an abortion in January 2024. At the time, D4vd was 18. But that was over a YEAR before she was murdered… So was she pregnant again at the time of her death?
On Wednesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to People that Celeste was NOT carrying a child at the time of her murder on April 25, 2025.
It’s difficult to find any positivity in this case, but knowing Celeste wasn’t pregnant while being murdered is certainly something of a relief.
As we previously reported, Celeste and D4vd started talking on August 8, 2022, when she was only 11. The two began a sexual relationship in November 2023 when she was 13, which D4vd had graphic child sex abuse material imagery of on his phone. In April, he was charged with first-degree murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains.
