The Abia State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has set up a disciplinary committee to address anti-party comments by some of its leaders in Abia State, including Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

Kalu had in an interview predicted victory for the Labour Party, with Governor Alex Otti as its flag bearer, in the 2027 governorship poll.

The State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Uche Aguoru, made this known when he spoke with newsmen in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.

Aguoru said that Kalu, the representative of Abia North Senatorial District, had been asked to explain to the disciplinary committee how Otti would win the poll.
