Policemen withdrawn from Atiku, Aisha Buhari, others + Full list
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineFollowing the order of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, the Squadron 50 Police Mobile Force (PMF) has withdrawn its operatives serving several Very Important Personalities (VIPs), including Aisha Buhari, the wife of late President Muhammadu Buhari; former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; and Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun.
According to a signal from the PMF Squadron based in Kubwa, Abuja, the withdrawal of the operatives was with immediate effect.
According to the signal signed by the Administrative Officer of the Squadron, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Suleiman Abdullahi: “This is to inform all personnel of this squadron that as a matter of urgency, Squadron Commander directs that all personnel who are attached to the underlisted VIPS are warned to report back to base today 27/11/2025 by 1400hrs.”

The VIPs were listed as Chief Judge of Nigeria; FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike; former Vice President Namadi Sambo; Minister of State for Labour; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Senator Tanko Almakura; APC Women Leader; Alhaji Kamba; and Hon. Ngozi Iwela.
Others include the Olu of Warri, Senator Ahmed Lawal, Hon. Kafila Abdul, Hon. Yusuf Gagdi, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani, Hon. Vetra; MD Barelco, Engr. Okeke, Former First Lady Aisha Buhari, and Hon. Ibrahim Massar.
