APC completes 100% upload of 471 candidates to INEC portal
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the successful upload of all its candidates for the national polls of the 2027 General Election to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP).
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen on Saturday by the National Chairman of the APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda.
He confirmed that the party successfully uploaded a total of 471 candidates, comprising its Presidential and Vice Presidential ticket, 109 Senatorial candidates, and 360 House of Representatives candidates.
Describing the exercise as a significant milestone, Yilwatda congratulated the party’s candidates, leaders, and members on the successful completion of the nomination process.
He said: “I congratulate our candidates, leaders, and members of the APC on the successful 100% upload of our Presidential, Vice Presidential, Senate, and House of Representatives candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP).”

The APC National Chairman noted that with the nomination process concluded, the party’s attention would now be directed toward nationwide mobilisation and campaign preparations.
He added: “With this milestone achieved, our focus now shifts to mobilization and preparations for a successful campaign and decisive victory at the polls.”
