Ekiti 2026: Bamidele leads Oyebanji’s re-election campaign 

The All Progressive Congress on Thursday, appointed the Leader of the Senate, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele to drive the re-election campaign of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi scheduled for June 18.

Apart from the leader of the senate, the party named the Chairman of Ekiti State APC,  Sola Elesin as the vice chairman of the campaign council; Chief of Staff to the Governor,  Oyeniyi Adebayo as the Secretary and 54 other high-powered members of the campaign council.

The council equally includes the Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Adeyemi Adaramodu; Chairman, Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Services, Senator Cyril Fasuyi; Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye and former Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Biodun Olujimi, among others.
