Greeks Abroad Urged to Register to Vote in Greek Parliamentary Elections

The Consulate General of Greece in New York is reminding Greeks living or staying abroad that they can exercise their right to vote in Greek parliamentary elections from their place of residence, provided they register on the special electoral rolls for voters abroad.
Registration can be completed quickly online through the Greek Ministry of Interior’s dedicated application:
The Consulate has highlighted an important requirement for Greeks who have previously registered on the special electoral rolls abroad or registered to vote in European Parliament elections.
A new application is required for parliamentary elections.
The Consulate General of Greece in New York has also offered assistance to citizens who encounter difficulties with the registration process or the online application.
Greeks living abroad are being encouraged to check their eligibility, complete the registration process and ensure they can exercise their voting rights in the next parliamentary elections.
The Consulate said the participation of the Greek diaspora is important and encouraged citizens to inform themselves, register and exercise their right to vote.
