Vedanth Basu

Vedanth Basu (9), son of K. Basappa, Accounts Superintendent at the Office of the Executive Engineer, Panchayat Raj Engineering Division, Karnataka State Audit and Accounts Department and a resident of D. Salundi in the taluk, passed away following prolonged illness on Saturday.

He leaves behind his father, mother Kalamma (Anasuya), sister Inchara Basu and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held on Saturday night, according to family sources.
