108 Ambulance staff to suspend services from tonight

Urging for implementation of their various demands including the revision of annual wages, the personnel of 108 Ambulance have announced that they would suspend their work from  8 pm today. This follows the end of 15-day deadline given by them to the Government for implementing their demands which ended yesterday. They have also decided to resign en masse and intensify their agitation.

The staff of 108 Ambulance service have urged the State Government to intervene immediately, solve their problems and prevent inconvenience to public. Criticising 108 staff for their decision to suspend work, Health Minister U.T. Khader said that they cannot blackmail the Government and assured that the Government would resolve their issues at the earliest.
