K.T. Balakrishna elected as Mysore Race Club Chairman

Mysuru: K.T. Balakrishna, IPS (retd.), has been elected as the Chairman & Senior Steward of the Mysore Race Club (MRC) Ltd., for the official year 2025-26, at the Managing Committee Meeting held yesterday.

Further, the following have been declared elected at the election of Stewards & Committee Members of the MRC Ltd:

Stewards: B.U. Chengappa; K.M. Chandre Gowda and Y.P. Udaya Shankar; Committee Members: Rakesh Vijayakumar and L.N. Nataraj.

Number of votes polled — Stewards: B.U. Chengappa (89); K.M. Chandre Gowda (82); Y.P. Udaya Shankar (77); G.K. Balakrishnan (75 votes); Y.B. Ganesh (59); Al Rm Nagappan (54); H.V. Vijay Kumar (35); Committee Members: Rakesh Vijayakumar – 114; L.N. Nataraj – 108; Dr. T. Vijaya Kumar – 92.
