Srinath, Kumble, Joshi, Bharadwaj in KSCA’s CAC

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), under the newly elected Managing Committee led by former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad, constituted a five-member new Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) which includes legendary cricketers Javagal Srinath, Anil Kumble, Sunil Joshi, Vijay Bharadwaj and experienced administrator Jayashree Doraiswamy.

In its first meeting, the Cricket Advisory Committee made recommendations for the selection panels for the ongoing season which have been approved by the Managing Committee.

As per the changes, former Ranji Trophy player Amit Verma has been appointed as the Chairman of State senior and U-23 teams and Deepak Chougle and Ganesh Satish as coaches of U-23 team.

The approved panels are as follows:

Senior and U-23 Men: Amit Verma (Chairman), S. Prakash, Tejpal Kothari and Sunil Raju.

Junior Men (U-19, U-16 and U-14): G.K. Anil Kumar, C. Raghavendra, G.N. Umesh and D.S. Ananth.

Coaches (U-23 Men): Ganesh Satish and Deepak Chougle.

The women’s Selection Committee is currently under review and necessary decisions in this regard will be taken shortly, said KSCA Official Spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya.
