Ban orders around exam centres

With the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) scheduled to conduct the written exam for recruitment of Civil Police Constables (CPCs) at 43 centres spread across the city tomorrow (Aug. 2), the City Police have enforced prohibitory orders in 200 mts radius around all the exam centres tomorrow as a security measure. Accordingly, barring the examinees and exam staff, no unauthorised persons will be allowed entry to the exam centres and carrying of objectionable articles around the centres is strictly prohibited. Also, all photocopy shops and browsing centres in the vicinity of the exam centres are ordered to shut down during exam period tomorrow, according to a press release issued by the office of City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar.
