Kanye West blocked from entering Britain – POLITICO

LONDON — The British government has blocked Kanye West from traveling to the U.K. to perform at a music festival after an outcry over his antisemitic comments. 

The rapper, now known as Ye, was due to travel to London to headline the Wireless Festival in July. But his permission has been revoked amid anger from ministers and Jewish leaders alike.

A Home Office official, granted anonymity to speak freely, said the decision had been made on the grounds West’s presence “would not be conducive to the public good.”
