Police blocking Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver due to ‘suspicious package’

Avoid the area on Burrard Street between Pender Street and Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver.

The Vancouver Police Department says it is blocking the streets to investigate a suspicious package located in the vicinity.

“Out of abundance of caution, police have cordoned off the area while they deal with it,” Const. Darren Wong told CityNews.

Delays have been reported in both directions on Pender Street.
