The tragic incident involving Lindsay Clancy has been making headlines ever since the information was leaked to the public. The mom, who was also a nurse, has been charged with the murder of her three kids, Cora, Dawson, and Callan. Lindsay pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the murders. In court, her defense team has not denied that she killed the three kids; however, they maintained that she had been suffering from postpartum psychosis. 

On the other hand, prosecutors argued that Lindsay Clancy preplanned the murder of her three kids. During the trial, Lindsay's now ex-husband, Patrick, and the father of her three late kids testified and revealed how he found out about the deaths of his three kids. Patrick, who is now married to Rachel Danis, forgave his ex-wife, Lindsay, and said that 'I was not married to a monster. I got married to someone who got sick'.

Viral claims about Patrick Clancy, including him going missing

While Lindsay Clancy's trial is underway, Patrick's new life has also sparked discussion, with several false claims made against him. Recently, some X posts went viral, claiming there was evidence against Patrick Clancy. To clarify, Patrick is not a suspect in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial; however, the conspiracy theorists haven't stopped making false claims on social media.

On the other hand, for two successive days, courtroom sessions had been abruptly called off under 'unforeseen circumstances'. While Judge William Sullivan asked people not to speculate, a video recently made the rounds on social media that featured an alleged 'hot mic' recording.

The viral social media posts claimed that 'Patrick Clancy was missing ' and 'Patrick Clancy didn't show up during the trial.' To mention, there's no official confirmation regarding the same claim as of now. Patrick was reportedly spotted in Manhattan with his new wife before the viral claim swirled. Patrick testified in court earlier, and when the buzz about his disappearance came up, the court was abruptly called off, which made people wonder whether there was any truth to it. However, no official confirmation supports these claims, and the buzz about Patrick going missing seems mostly false.

Patrick Clancy recalled the horrific day of finding his kids dead

On the horrific day Lindsay killed her kids, Patrick was sent to pick up food and also to a pharmacy. When Patrick testified in court, he revealed that he even called Lindsay from the medical shop, and she was silent, which led him to wonder whether she was giving the kids a bath. Upon his return, he was met with an awkward silence. He eventually found Lindsay in the yard, paralyzed from the waist down, after she attempted suicide.

When Patrick asked about the kids, Lindsay told him that they were in the basement. In a 911 recording played during the trial, Patrick was heard asking Lindsay what she did with the kids. For the unversed, Lindsay allegedly used a resistance band to kill her three kids, which she, according to her defense team, did after suffering from severe postpartum psychosis.
