The search for Nancy Guthrie has passed yet another painstaking day without any leads. Even 92 days after the elderly mom of Savannah Guthrie was reported missing, the investigators have uncovered close to nothing, at least according to what official reports say. The internet is baffled at how there's not even a trace of the masked guy who was captured on Nancy's doorbell camera the night of her abduction.

And now, the mystery has taken a chilling new turn, with explosive theories from criminal profilers suggesting that the so-called "porch guy" may not be alive after all.

Could the 'porch guy' be dead? Shocking new theory emerges in Nancy Guthrie's search

In a preview of the upcoming television special, NewsNation Presents: The Nancy Guthrie Mystery, experts raised some far more sinister possibilities than popular speculations. The show, set to be hosted by Brian Entin and featuring renowned criminal profilers Dr. Ann Burgess, Dr. Gary Brocato, and Dr. Casey Jordan, suggests possibilities that the 84-year-old's kidnapping may have been a multi-person job.

Recently, Parade acquired some preview clips from the much-anticipated program, and they are already creating a stir online. The video shows the group of profilers discussing whether the armed individual wearing a ski mask on Nancy's porch acted alone. According to experts, the abduction may very well have involved a gang, and possibly a "boss" figure orchestrating it all behind the scenes. Dr. Burgess said:

"I just had a thought. That person [on Nancy’s stoop] may have been eliminated."

Dr. Burgess's theory also points to a coordinated operation rather than what manny assumed was a one-man job. She hinted at the possibility of a much more complex level of orchestration that's quite rare in similar abduction cases. The expert noted that it was a "well-planned" ploy, and "they got away with it."

Could there really be a mastermind behind the scenes?

The special, scheduled to air on CW TV, promises a deep dive into behavioural patterns of criminals based on past cases. Featuring the group of criminal profilers, the NewsNation special will see them exploring every possible scenario to help find Nancy Guthrie. Besides Dr. Burgess, fellow profilers Gary Brucato and Casey Jordan also suggest a similar possibility of a larger puzzle.

Brucato suggests that if the masked individual were alive and could ever be identified, he could be a crucial key for investigators to infiltrate the "centre of the web" surrounding Nancy Guthrie's abduction. Experts can't deny the possibility of a mastermind who may have orchestrated the whole crime from behind the scenes.
