He dropped a six-page statement on January 19, 2026. Now, reports claim that Brooklyn is worried about his little sister, Harper, as he thinks she might also face the same pressure he felt for years while growing up as part of the famous Beckham family.

Harper Beckham’s recent holiday outing has grabbed a lot of attention, and people have even compared the 14-year-old to her mom, Victoria Beckham. And now that Harper is reportedly working on her own skincare brand, it seems like she is all set to follow in her mom’s footsteps and enter the world of fashion and beauty. Amid this, a source told Closer Magazine that Brooklyn Beckham, who parted ways with his family, is allegedly worried for Harper as he feels that his little sister could be pushed too far. Brooklyn thinks that his sister, Harper, is the next victim. The source was quoted as saying:
"Brooklyn says this is exactly the reason he made the painful decision to leave the Beckham family. He worries about Harper and how she’ll handle the spotlight and potential pressure of it all - he feels she could be pushed too far and become the next victim of burnout from it all – just like he did. He worries the brand is too controlling and that his parents - especially Victoria - are trying to create the narrative that this skincare range is all Harper’s idea and this has all happened organically because they are conscious about not being seen as pushy showbiz parents."
Brooklyn Beckham and his family fiasco explained
On January 19, 2026, David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, levelled multiple accusations against his parents. In his six-page statement, Brooklyn mentioned that he had been silent for years and tried his best to keep the matters private. However, his famous parents left him with no choice but to speak for himself. He added that he didn’t want to reconcile with his family. He revealed that for his entire life, David and Victoria had controlled narratives in the press about their family. An excerpt from his statement can be read as:
"I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed. I do not want to reconcile with my family."
Further in the note, Brooklyn revealed how his parents tried to create problems between him and his wife, Nicola Peltz. Recalling their wedding day, Brooklyn mentioned that his mom, Victoria, hijacked their first dance as a couple. He shared that Victoria cancelled making Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment. He added that Nicola was consistently disrespected by his family members. An excerpt from his note can be read as:
"My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour, despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife. My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one."
