The development was disclosed on Friday in a statement by the Media Information Officer of the task force, Captain Chinonso Oteh.

In a separate operation carried out in the Karem community in Wase Local Government Area, the troops reportedly disrupted the movement of suspected terrorists.
Oteh said the operation resulted in the neutralisation of three insurgents.
He added that the success of the mission followed the strategic deployment of specialised counter-terrorism troops aimed at strengthening security in the state.
