Former Federal Lawmaker Dumps ADC

Naija News reports that the former lawmaker cited doubts about the political climate and its impact on his career and constituents.
Shiddi submitted a resignation letter on March 18, 2026, to the chairman of Puje Ward in Wukari Local Government.
He explained that after reflecting on his initial decision to join the party, he concluded that the current political uncertainties could affect both his political goals and the welfare of the people he represents in Taraba State.
He added that continuing with the party no longer aligned with his strategic direction.
While leaving the party was difficult, Shiddi acknowledged the strong relationships he developed within ADC and expressed gratitude for the support he received during his membership.
He reaffirmed his dedication to serving his community and said he must now pursue a path that allows him to represent his constituents clearly and effectively.
Shiddi asked that his name be removed from ADC’s membership records and wished the party well in its future activities.
Copies of his resignation were sent to the Wukari Council chairman, the state chairman of ADC in Taraba, and the Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state.
