President U Min Aung Hlaing arrives in Thailand on official visit at the invitation of the Thai Prime Minister

President U Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Thailand on the morning of August 6 for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.

Leading a Myanmar delegation, President U Min Aung Hlaing is visiting Thailand from August 6 to 7. Upon his arrival at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok, he was welcomed by senior Thai officials led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, the Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand and his wife, the Military Attaché and his wife, as well as staff from the Myanmar Embassy and the Office of the Defence Attaché.

During the visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and attend the Myanmar–Thailand Economic Forum 2026.
