President U Min Aung Hlaing said he will work hard to achieve stability and development in the country.

Speaking after being sworn in as President at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw session on April 10, he was responding to a question from a news outlet about his priorities for the first 100 days in office.

“We must work hard to achieve stability and development. This is our priority. Overall, it comes down to one thing—stability and development. I urge the entire nation to work together and remain united,” the President said.

The President, Vice Presidents U Nyo Saw and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, along with Union Ministers and members of Union-level organizations, took their oaths of office simultaneously at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw.
