Magway Region CM inspects voting process in Minhla Township
· Eleven Media Group Co., LtdDuring Phase Two of the 2025 Multi-Party Democratic General Election, Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin inspected the voting process at polling stations in Minhla Township, Thayet District, Magway Region, according to reports.
During the inspection, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and responsible officials visited relevant polling stations in Minhla Township and held cordial discussions with voters and polling station staff. They inquired about voters’ experiences in casting their ballots, the use of MEVM voting machines, and the overall performance and duties of election staff.
In the 2025 Multi-Party Democratic General Election, Minhla Township has a total of 53,261 eligible voters. Within the township, 48 polling stations were opened across 32 village tracts. A total of four political parties contested the election in Minhla Township, with candidates competing for two seats in the Pyithu Hluttaw (Lower House), two seats in the Amyotha Hluttaw (Upper House), three seats in the Regional Hluttaw, and three seats representing the Chin ethnic constituency.
