Laos President welcomes President U Min Aung Hlaing with guard of honor at Presidential Palace, holds talks

At the invitation of Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, President U Min Aung Hlaing arrived in the Lao People's Democratic Republic on a state-level goodwill visit on the morning of July 3.

Upon his arrival, President U Min Aung Hlaing was accorded an official welcome by President Thongloun Sisoulith at the Lao Presidential Palace. During the welcome ceremony, the two Presidents took the salute from the guard of honour on the ceremonial dais as the national anthems of Myanmar and Laos were played. They then paid respects to the Lao national flag at the head of the guard of honour before jointly inspecting the guard of honour.

Following the welcome ceremony, President U Min Aung Hlaing held bilateral talks with President Thongloun Sisoulith. The discussions were attended by a high-level Myanmar delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing.
