President U Min Aung Hlaing arrives back in Nay Pyi Taw after two-day official visit to Thailand

President U Min Aung Hlaing arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw on the afternoon of August 7 after completing a two-day official visit to Thailand.

The President, who visited Thailand at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, departed Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport on the afternoon of August 7 and arrived at the Tatmadaw Airport in Nay Pyi Taw.

Upon hisarrival, the President was welcomed by government officials and officials from the Embassy of Thailand in Yangon.

The Myanmar delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing made the official visit to Thailand from August 6 to 7 at the invitation of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.

During the visit, President U Min Aung Hlaing held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and took part in Myanmar-Thailand bilateral talks.

Officials accompanying the President and Thai officials also signed and exchanged memorandums of understanding between the two countries.

In addition, President U Min Aung Hlaing attended the Myanmar-Thailand Business Forum 2026 and delivered a speech.
