Did Love on the Spectrum’s Abbey and David Breakup?

by · VULTURE

Love on the Spectrum follows love and dating, and sometimes with that comes breakups. Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, who began dating in season one, have reportedly split, The Sun reports. Vulture reached out to both of their reps but has not heard back. The outlet claims that the two broke up over marriage disagreements. “They couldn’t come to an agreement on when to get married. She was ready years ago, he still needed time,” a source close to Romeo told The Sun. “They did break up, but he is doing very well,” a separate source for Isaacman added. The two were dating for five years.

The news comes shortly after the premiere of season four, where Romeo and Isaacman made a guest appearance at Madison Marilla and Tyler White’s engagement party. “Hopefully we’re next!” Romeo wondered as she received the invite. “We can only be engaged whenever the time is right,” Isaacman replied. In previous seasons, the two discussed with family what marriage would look like for them if they were to elope. “Look, this can look like whatever you want it to look like,” Romeo’s mother Christine recounted in a past conversation with Abbey, to Isaacman’s family in season three.

While the news is heartbreaking for fans who’ve followed their relationship since 2021, it gives the chance for Romeo and Isaacman to find their separate happily ever after.
