Prime Video Assembles a Super-Bundle

Prime Video is putting together a team. Streamers are looking to boost their services by joining forces, creating offerings like the cable bundles of yore, and today marks Prime Video’s largest one yet. The Amazon streamer launched a five-service bundle consisting of Starz, AMC+, BritBox, MGM+, and PBS Masterpiece. The cost for all five is $30, which according to Prime is nearly 40 percent less than subscribing to each service individually. And no, it doesn’t include Prime Video.

While some of these streamers are considered a bit more niche, they collectively offer a vast library of options: the Anne Rice and The Walking Dead universes over on AMC+, plenty of Jane Austen and Agatha Christie shows on BritBox, and the Power Universe on Starz. Beyond this bundle, Prime Video’s storefront also houses HBO Max and Paramount+, which allows Amazon subscribers to purchase these streamers through the app. Those aren’t offered as a bundle, but their presence gives Prime Video real power, as it houses a number of streamers within its ecosystem. But does it have the power of the blood of Akasha in it? Absolutely not.
