Where to Watch the 2024 Election Results

You wanted Election Day coverage info? Are you sure? If you’re the type of person who wants to follow the election live instead of, you know, doing anything else with your time, first you should consider some other options. Perhaps you can go for a nice stroll with a loved one, re-read a book you cherish, or take an old rowboat out into the middle of a lake and let rip the most ear-piercing shriek your feeble flesh suit can muster. Just a few ideas.

When you’re done, here’s where you can watch the real-time election results on Tuesday, November 5. You can even catch the vote in virtual reality (because this reality isn’t scary enough). 

ABC network coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET, led by World News Tonight anchor and managing editor David Muir. ABC News Live (which streams on Disney+ and Hulu) Election Day coverage will begin streaming at 8 a.m. ET.

CBS and CBS News 24/7 will begin prime-time Election Night coverage at 7 p.m. ET. Norah O’Donnell will anchor from CBS News’ studio in New York City. Additionally, CBS Stations is debuting an augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) presidential-election-coverage center in select locations.

CNN will kick off Election Day in America at midnight ET on November 4 with Boris Sanchez and Jessica Dean, with coverage continuing the rest of the day. Election Night in America coverage begins at 4 p.m. ET with co-anchors Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper. Network Election Night coverage will stream starting at 7 p.m. ET on Max with a subscription, as well as CNN.com and the CNN app without requiring a cable subscription.

C-SPAN will cover the presidential as well as state races beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

NBC will offer a full 24 hours of Decision 2024 election coverage starting at 5 p.m. ET on NBC, NBC News Now, and NBCNews.com. Hallie Jackson and Tom Llamas will kick things off before being joined by NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt and Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie starting at 6:30 p.m ET. Peacock will bring its multi-view experience, featured heavily in the 2024 Paris Olympics coverage, to Election Night. NBC’s social-media program Stay Tuned will also launch a new “24 in 24” segment on Snapchat and YouTube covering how 24 Gen-Z figures are influencing this election, if you’re into that sort of thing.

MSNBC prime-time Election Day coverage will be helmed by dabeginning at 6 p.m. ET. If you’re up early on Tuesday, you can also tune in to Way Too Early with John Lemire at 5 a.m. ET, followed by Morning Joe with Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Willie Geist at 6 a.m.

Telemundo will broadcast its Decisión 2024 election coverage on the Telemundo network, streaming channel Noticias Telemundo AHORA, and NoticiasTelemundo.com on November 5. Noticias Telemundo AHORA coverage will begin at 4 p.m. ET, and prime-time coverage will start at 7 p.m. ET with anchors Julio Vaqueiro and Arantxa Loizaga.

Amazon Prime Video will debut Election Night Live With Brian Williams, a ten-hour special produced from a soundstage in Los Angeles, for free starting at 5 p.m. ET.

NewsNation’s first presidential election as a 24-hour network will begin election coverage at 6 p.m. ET, anchored by Chris Cuomo, Elizabeth Vargas, and Leland Vittert.

Fox News — who? Just kidding. The network’s multiplatform coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET, anchored by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
