Odisha Cabiet Approves 7 Proposals; Govt To Bear 85% Of Cattle Insurance

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet on Saturday approved seven proposals of six departments on Saturday.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Minister of Works, Law & Excise Prithviraj Harichandan said the Cabinet decisions included the Kamdhenu Yojana.

Under the scheme, the state government would bear 85% of the insurance cover of the cattle while the rest 15% will be paid by the owners.

Minister of Panchayati raj, Drinking Water & Rural Development Rabi Narayan Naik was also present in the press meet.
