Amid Cyclone Dana Odisha JEE Asks Candidates Who Participated In MBBS/BDS Counselling To Report To Allotted College By Oct 26

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities have asked the candidates, who had participated in MBBS/BDS counselling up to 3tf round, to report physically to their final allotted colleges between October 24 and 26.

“It is to inform all reported candidates till 3rd round, that the upgradation round allotment has been published. Accordingly, all the reported candidates can download final allotment letter and physically report to their final allotted college during *Date: 24-10-2024 to 26-10-2024. Upgraded candidates have to report to their final allotted college with revised bond,” said a notification issued by OJEE.

“Similarly, candidates freshly allotted in the upgradation round have to report at OJEE Cell Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar on October 26 between 10AM and 4PM) mandatorily, else the allotment will be cancelled and the vacant seat will be considered for the stray vacancy round counselling,” it said.

“As per the notification, all Dean and Principals of all concerned Colleges are requested to make proper arrangements for physical reporting to complete other formalities of admission process for the candidates allotted to their Colleges/ Institutes.

Reporting to be made as per the situation of Cyclone “DANA” keeping in mind safety and security of the person concern,” the notification further stated.

It may be noted that severe cyclonic storm Dana, which is moving towards Odisha coast, is likely to make a landfall between Bhitarkanika in Kendrapada district and Dhamra in Bhadrak by October 25 morning. Several parts of Odisha are likely to be battered by heavy to extremely heavy rain coupled with high-velocity wind under its influence.
