The admit cards for the January session are likely to be issued three to four days prior to the commencement of the examination. The results for the January session of JEE Main 2026 are scheduled to be declared on February 12.

During the application process, candidates were allowed to select up to four preferred examination cities from within the states mentioned in their present and permanent addresses. The NTA stated that every effort will be made to allot candidates an examination city based on their preferences as indicated in the online application form. However, due to administrative or logistical constraints, candidates may be assigned a different city.
The NTA also reiterated that it will make all possible efforts to ensure the comfort and convenience of candidates, including Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), while allotting examination centres for the JEE Main 2026 January session.
