Person seriously hurt, drivers warned of highway delays over 'incident' in Auckland's Mt Wellington

A person is seriously hurt and Auckland drivers are being warned to expect delays over what police are only calling an incident.

Emergency services have been at Mount Wellington Highway, near Te Horeta Road and Rowlands Avenue, since about 6.30am on Tuesday.

The highway remains open, but commuters are being told to expect delays and to take alternative routes.
