Crash on Crown Range Rd

Emergency services were called to a crash on the Crown Range Road which blocked the southbound lane for a time earlier today. 

Police said a single vehicle was involved in the incident, about 9.40am. 

A spokesman for Fire and Emergency NZ said the crash happened 30km south of Wānaka, and two appliances from the town's station were sent. 

Two people were in the vehicle, he said.

A spokeswoman for Hato Hone St John said an ambulance was dispatched and staff treated one patient for minor injuries at the scene.

A tow for the vehicle was being arranged.
