Fog affects flights at Dunedin Airport

Heavy fog shrouding the Dunedin Airport has led to cancelled flights this morning.

A passenger said he was due to fly out of Dunedin to Christchurch this morning, and everyone was ready to board when they were told due to fog their flight was cancelled.

A Dunedin Airport spokeswoman said an inbound flight from Christchurch had been cancelled, as well as a flight departing for Christchurch.

A flight headed to Wellington had been delayed until fog clears and conditions improve, she said.
