Crash closes lane near summit of Lindis Pass

A single-vehicle crash closed one lane of State Highway 8 near the summit of Lindis Pass this morning. 

A police spokesman said they were called to the crash at about 8.40am. 

The vehicle involved had hit a barrier and there was oil and debris on the road.

There were no serious injuries in the crash. 

Road users were advised the stretch of road was down to one lane, under stop/go traffic management. 

Both lanes have since reopened but delays are still possible.
