Person dies in hospital after Selwyn crash

A person has died in hospital after a crash in the Selwyn District on Thursday. 

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Hororata Dunsandel Rd at about 5pm on Thursday. 

One person, who had suffered critical injuries, was transported to hospital. 

In a statement, police said they died in hospital on Saturday night. 

Inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
