Building bridges

A pile driver operates in St Andrew St yesterday as part of the new Dunedin hospital build. The machine is being used to install piling for a pedestrian overbridge which is set to cross the street and link the outpatient and inpatient buildings. During the work, set to last for the rest of the month, the street is being blocked to traffic for large parts of the day.
