School violence accuser YouTuber Nareum responds to BZ-BOYS’ Choi Tae Woong’s denial “The one who hit always forgets”
by Demian09 · allkpopYouTuber Nareum, who has accused BZ-BOYSmember Choi Tae Woong of school violence, has issued a detailed response following the agency’s strong denial of the allegations.
On December 24, Nareum took to her personal social media story to share her reaction, writing, “I received a truly absurd DM. I’ll say just one thing. The one who hit always forgets,” expressing her disbelief at the situation.
She continued by explaining that a netizen had informed her of an official statement claiming she spread false information and would be sued unless she removed her video. “However, I have never stated any false facts, so I will not delete the video,” she said. Nareum then provided specific details regarding the alleged incident, adding, “If you do not remember because I legally changed my name after becoming an adult, the café’s name was ‘Gyeong-sil-mo,’ the year was 2003, and I was in fourth grade, Class 7 at the time.”
Nareum further explained that an official meeting had been held involving her homeroom teacher, café members, her parents, and students from Class 8 of the same grade. “At that meeting, the homeroom teacher ordered the café to be shut down, and it was in fact closed. Anyone familiar with data records would know that even though the ‘2003 Daum Café Gyeong-sil-mo’ is now closed, its records can still be traced,” she stated.
She also revealed that her decision to legally change her name as soon as she became an adult was tied to trauma stemming from the incident. “Every time my name was called, those memories resurfaced and made me shrink,” she explained. Nareum added, “As people often say, perpetrators don’t remember. Or perhaps my name change caused confusion, which is why legal action was mentioned. Still, I question on what grounds I am being sued.”
Nareum concluded by saying that if she has committed any legal wrongdoing, she will take responsibility, and that she plans to continue sharing updates on the lawsuit through future videos.
Previously, Choi Tae Woong’s side firmly denied the allegations after he was identified by Nareum as the alleged perpetrator of school violence. His agency stated, “These allegations are false. There has never been any act of school violence, nor any instance of physical or psychological harm inflicted.” The statement also warned of civil and criminal legal action over the spread of false information, demanding the immediate removal of related videos and posts, and vowing to pursue legal responsibility to the end to prevent further damage.
