by Demian09 · allkpopOne Hundred Label has firmly denied allegations of an alleged affair between its chairman Cha Ga Won and singer and producer MC Mong, calling the claims entirely false and based on manipulated evidence.
On December 24, One Hundred Label released an official statement addressing recent reports that suggested an extramarital relationship between Chairman Cha Ga Won, who is married with children, and MC Mong. The agency stated that both the article’s claims and the disclosed KakaoTalk messages were untrue.
According to the label, the messenger conversations in question were fabricated by MC Mong after he was threatened by Cha Jun Young, a relative of Chairman Cha Ga Won. The agency claimed that Cha Jun Young allegedly attempted to seize management control of Big Planet Made and pressured MC Mong into forcibly selling his shares during the process.
One Hundred Label explained that the manipulated KakaoTalk messages were allegedly created amid these threats and were later delivered to the media outlet that first reported the affair rumors. The agency added that it believes Cha Jun Young was responsible for providing the messages to the press.
The statement further revealed that after learning of the report, MC Mong contacted the company to apologize. One Hundred Label emphasized that it plans to take strong legal action against both Cha Jun Young and the media outlet that initially published the report.
Earlier on the same day, The Fact reported that MC Mong was allegedly involved in an extramarital relationship with Chairman Cha Ga Won, prompting widespread attention and controversy.
One Hundred Label concluded its statement by stressing its zero-tolerance policy toward malicious accusations and the spread of false information targeting its artists and executives. The agency urged the public and media to refrain from groundless speculation and defamatory reporting, vowing to pursue legal action without leniency.
