Byeon Woo Seok's fandom donates over ₩4 million to celebrate his Seoul fan meeting

The fandom of actor Byeon Woo Seok, 'Byeon Woo Seok and TongTongE,' made a donation to mark his recent fan meeting in Seoul. According to the Korea Social Welfare Society, fans ran a donation relay from July 4 to 12, raising a total of ₩4,028,074.

The funds will support young adults transitioning to independent living after leaving institutional care. The donation will be used to make grocery kits with items such as instant rice and side dishes.

"I hope the warm interest and support from 'Byeon Woo Seok and TongTongE' gives them the courage to move forward without hesitation," said one participating fan.

Lee Bong Won, president of the Korea Social Welfare Society, said, "'Byeon Woo Seok and TongTongE' are setting an example of a healthy fandom culture by consistently sharing with neighbors in need. I am deeply grateful, and I hope this donation becomes a great hope for young adults preparing for independence."

This marks the fandom's ninth donation relay since they began charitable activities in 2024. They have previously supported causes including wheelchairs for veterans, meal support for children, and medical equipment for people with disabilities.
